Aloha! Up for bid from a nuuanu valley, oahu estate with no erserve is a rare scrimshaw etching of the sandwich islands circa late 1800s. Family had this in their possession for many generations and are slowly letting go some of their collection. Known as a view of karakokooa, ni owyhee as depicted by john webber del.
W. Bryne sculp. (london, g. Nicol and t. Cadell, 1785. ) measures approx 4 l x 2 1/8 w then tapers down to smallest point.
