1930S Original Royal Hawaiian Hotel Koa Ukulele Uke

1930's original royal hawaiian koa ukulele made in hawaii / this has some very great looking koa wood on this ukulele. Has original lables and tuners.

Back look great with that hawaiian sunset color flame look ot it. / sides and back are also very nice with no cracks, top has a split just above the hole, and an other that is just below the string bridge, both a not serious, when you press down around them it does not break the wood, so i am sure the quality of the tone of this uke is still very good if you plan on playing it. This is the type of ukule that you would see the hawaiian surfer beach boys playing out in front of the outrigger canoe club or the hotels along waikiki beach. This is a great piece of hawaiian history.

I found one small crack in the finish on back, did not see ti when looking straight at the wood, but if you hold it on an angle and in the right light there is a very tiny crack to the finish, i say finish because when i press down on the wood by the split in the finish, it does not show a crack in the wood, the wood is solid. I also added a nice shot of the rear of the uke to show all that the spine is very tight and not splitting where they would join the two pieces of owod that would wrap around the sides.
